Who Holds Stewart Arrest Reports

Under T.C.A. § 10-7-503, the custodian responds within seven business days by producing, denying, or issuing the prescribed notice about added time. That is not a guaranteed production date. Inspection of open records is generally free, while copies and labor may cost money. Ask for an estimate.

Booking Logs and Recent Arrests

The recent booking log limits its view through the hours=240 address parameter. It is useful for an event within the last 240 hours, while the standard Jail address shows current inmates. Both use alphabet filters and page controls. Neither is a full lifetime arrest-history search, and a person can leave one view after release or passage of time.

The official recent view documents bookings without republishing private booking material. Use its fields to route a request, not to draw conclusions about guilt.

A person absent from the live roster may have been released, transferred, cited without county booking, held elsewhere, or never arrested. For release and transfer alerts, Tennessee SAVIN/VINE provides web, phone, email, and TTY notification. Call 888-868-4631 or TTY 866-847-1298, but heed VINE's warning not to rely on notification alone for safety.

State jail reports also provide context, not a person search. The May 2025 snapshot listed 132 beds and 68 occupants in Stewart County, including TDOC backup, pretrial felony, and convicted misdemeanor categories. January 2025 listed 58 occupants. These monthly counts show that the live population changes. They do not guarantee current capacity, custody, release, or the status of any one booking.

The app supplies a convenient Stewart County channel, but it is not for emergency reporting. Call 911 for an emergency and use the responsible records office for an official report.

For a qualifying custodial arrest, fingerprints go to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, which builds an arrest cycle and later tries to link a reported court disposition.
